World Futures Day is an annual 24-hour conversation around the world. For 24 hours, young people and futurists co-lead a session at every hour having conversations about the future. By spotlighting youth, we provide young people with a platform to share their ideas about the future with the world.

About the event
Teach the Future (TTF) wants to ensure young people are part of conversations about the future. After all, it's their future. In collaboration with The Millennium Project and additional partners, TTF launched World Futures Day - Young Voices (WFD-YV) on March 1st, 2021.
For 24 hours, young people and the futures community and enthusiasts co-lead conversations about the future every hour on Zoom and live on YouTube. The objective is to provide a platform for all generations to share their aspirations, concerns, predictions, and visions for the future. It is a space to foster intergenerational dialogue where participants have the opportunity to voice their perspectives and feel heard. Sessions take various formats, from games and workshops to panel discussions and interactive activities.
In 2025, 1050 participants registered, between ages 11 to 87, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.
