As Teach the Future continues to thrive, we recognize the importance of securing funding to sustain our growth and expand our impact. The year 2024 has been extraordinary for us, marked by significant achievements and a commitment to fostering futures literacy among school districts, educators, and students.
Highlights from 2024:
World Futures Day: Surged to over 600 registrations, bringing together diverse voices.
New Hubs: Established in the US, Hungary, Kazakhstan, India, and Singapore (among others), enhancing our global reach.
NGFP-YV Expansion: We increased the number of honorees from four to twenty-one by adding the UN Sustainable Development honorees to our competition.
Futures Literacy Adoption: Futures thinking was added to St. Peters School’s regular curriculum in Barcelona (Spain), reinforcing the importance of this educational approach.
Educational Content: Completed a series of 12 videos to enrich our learning resources.
Young Voices Council: Created to empower youth leadership and engagement in future dialogues throughout organizations and government.
PBS Learning Media: Successfully positioned Futures Literacy as a distinct educational category.
Global Workshops: Conducted over a dozen workshops worldwide.
Major Conferences: Represented our mission at significant events like the Dubai Future Forum and the UN Summit for the Future.
Ten-Year Report: Completed a comprehensive overview of our organization's impact.
