What’s World Futures Day?
Just for background, on March 1st, 2024 The Millennium Project and five other international futurist organisations hosted the 11th annual World Futures Day – a unique 24-hour online conversation around the world exploring possibilities for our shared future.
Teach the Future and partners organize the Young Voices Edition of World Futures Day. Youth from around the world come together with futurists and foresight leaders to discuss aspects of futures thinking that are challenging, inspiring, intriguing and sometimes prickly and problematic…whatever your mindset, each session is bound to stimulate new ideas.
World Futures Day is an open, free-of-charge event where internationally recognized futurists, foresight leaders, and the public voluntarily join forces to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities that lie ahead. It’s a day dedicated to exploring the future and our role in shaping it as global citizens.
